ITINERARY
Our guided Rediscovering tour starts by collecting you from your hotel. We transfer you to the train station. We either take the first train departing Poroy at 20 minutes from Cusco or the first train departing from Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley, to Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu is located at 112 kilometers (69 miles) northwest of Cusco. Its altitude is 2,450 meters (8,038ft). This is without doubt one of the most fascinating wonders and mysterious cities in the world. We take the bus from Aguas Calientes to the Machu Picchu Inca citadel.
We will first start walking up to the Guardian House. On the way up; we will enjoy the fantastic views of city, the landscapes and the views. Our guide will show you the best look out points and places to take stunning photographs.
After this we will begin the tour. The tour consists of walking and visiting each sector, section by section. The tour provides a personal meeting with the Inca legacy and its energy is connected step by step with each enclosure, temple, altar and nature. The city is incredible in any season.
After the tour we will enjoy lunch at a restaurant in the village. In the afternoon we will return to Cusco by train and transfer you back to your Cusco hotel.
