SACRED VALLEY TOUR
(ONE DAY TOUR)
The Pisac Market, Ollantaytambo ruins and the town From 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Our guided Sacred Valley tour starts by collecting you from your hotel. We then transfer you to Pisac in approximately 40 minutes in order to visit the Pisac Market. This market is a highly recommended artisan market, especially on market days and Sundays. The peasants from the surrounding communities descend from the mountains in order to perform their commercial transactions. The colorful clothing of peasants is very showy. Their native hats make them very easy to distinguish. At 11:00 A.M. there is a catholic mass in the church for the local populace in Incan language. After the market visit, we will enjoy Lunch at a restaurant. We then have a demonstration of Inca beer preparation in an Andean bar (Ajahuasy). Moreover, we will have a fantastic ceramic demonstration in pre-Inca and Inca style. We then return to Cusco and end the tour by dropping you of at your Cusco hotel. Service Included:

Afterwards, we travel to Ollantaytambo Town which is situated at 68 kilometers (47.2 miles) northwest of Cusco; its altitude is 2,700 meters (8,856 ft). This town used to be the Royal estate of the Inca Pachacuteq, which stands at a strategic spot, enclosed in hills that hide some of the most impressive ruins from Inca and Pre-Inca times. The town is one of the best surviving Inca settlements still inhabited, in blocks called Canchas, one Cancha housed several families.
