RAFTING CHUQUICAHUANA

ITINERARY

This rafting tour starts by picking you up at your hotel at approximately 9:00 A.M. We then have a bus ride toward the south of Cusco which takes about one hour and forty-five minutes. We will first arrive to the CASA CUSI base camp which is equipped with toilets, dressing rooms and sauna. Here we will hand out the rafting gear: helmets, life vests, a neo- prene suit and a waterproof jacket. Then your professional rafting guides tell you what to do on the boat during the tour, all instructions are very important in order to combine fun with safety.

From the camp, we will go on a 15 minutes bus ride to the Acomayo Bridge where our tour starts. We will be rafting for about 2 hours and half on an inflatable boat; the rapids are in class 3 or sometimes 4. Afterwards we go back to the base camp of CASA CUSI by bus where we will be able to take a relaxing hot water shower and/ or sauna. After a delicious lunch, we return to Cusco.
