WHAT TO BRING?

What you should bring really depends on the tours you take and places that you will be visiting. In general, we have provided the following list of suggestions. This list can be thorough, but we have high lightened the main items that you should consider.

IF YOU ARE PLANNING AN ADVENTURE TOUR THAT INCLUDES CAMPING E.G:

INCA TRAIL, LARES, SALKANTAY AND CHOQUEQUIRAO, BRING:

A small backpack for:

• Sunglasses
• Sunhat
• Sun block
• Insect repellent
• Rain gear (trousers and jacket)
• Flashlight
• Toilet paper
• One liter of water per day (if you can bring a camelback that would be much better)
• Personal toiletries

We will provide a canvas bag for other things like:

• Sleeping bag
• T- Shirts; One t-shirt per day of walking
• Sleepwear, thermal clothes if possible
• A towel
• Soap and shampoo
• A pair of gloves
• A hat for the cold
• A clean set clothes to change in case there is rain
• Socks, a pair a day
• A pair of sandals (we recommend Tevas sandals)
• First aid kit (anti-inflammatory tablets, rehydration salts and antibiotics that you use usually, bandages and cream for muscle pain. Etc)
• Snacks (especially those that contain enough sugar and salt)

How to dress each day:

Shirt, sweater, pants, a good pair of hiking boots plus a small backpack with the things recommended.

If you are planning a traditional, historical tour, bring:

• A small suitcase and small backpack (For a one-week tour)
• A large suitcase and a small backpack (for a tour of more than a week)

RECOMMENDED FOR:

• January to March: Clothing for the rainy season.
• April to May: Varied clothing, summer and winter clothes.
• June to September: Clothing for warm and cold weather (cold in the morning and evening, sunny during the day)
• October to December: Clothing for sun and rain
